Together, We Bring Care, Comfort, and Hope Close to Home
WestView Health Foundation Annual Appeal 2025
Dear Donor,
When someone you love needs care, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing help is close by — that compassionate, quality healthcare is available right here in our own community.
At the WestView Health Foundation, we believe that every person—at every stage of life—deserves access to exceptional healthcare close to home. Thanks to the generosity of caring donors like you, we continue to enhance care across the WestView zone, from east of Spruce Grove to Niton Junction, including Lac Ste. Anne County, Onoway, Alberta Beach, the Lac Ste. Anne Métis Community, Alexis First Nations, Paul First Nations, Enoch First Nations, and Alexander First Nations.
Your kindness fuels programs that heal, comfort, and connect. It brings new equipment to hospitals, supports mental wellness, and uplifts the people who care for us all. Your gift makes the difference between care that is good and care that is truly exceptional.
This year, we’re asking for your help to support programs that touch hearts and transform lives across our community.
Adult Day Program
Supporting Seniors and Families
The Adult Day Program is more than a service—it’s a lifeline of connection and dignity. Designed for adults aged 18 and over who need help maintaining or improving their physical and cognitive well-being, the program offers participants a safe, welcoming space to socialize, enjoy activities, and stay mentally and physically active.
For caregivers, it provides invaluable respite and access to wellness resources. For participants, it brings joy, confidence, and friendship. Your donation ensures seniors and adults with health challenges continue to feel valued, supported, and connected right here at home.
When you give, you’re not just supporting a program. You’re enriching lives.
“The Adult Day Program has been a lifeline for our family. My mom looks forward to her days there — she’s active, social, and part of a caring community. The staff treat everyone with kindness and respect, and it gives us peace of mind knowing she’s safe and happy. This program doesn’t just support participants, it supports families too. We’re so grateful it exists in our community.”

Wishing You Wellness Program
Removing Barriers to Healthy Living
At WestView Health Foundation, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live well. Through our Wishing You Wellness (WYW) Program, we remove financial barriers to recreation by offering a 75% subsidy for TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre memberships.
In partnership with the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre, this program opens doors to health and fitness opportunities that build connection, belonging, and well-being as part of a broader commitment to physical and mental health.
Who Can Qualify: Individuals and families in the Tri-Region whose access to the Tri Leisure Centre falls outside a basic living wage.
How You Can Help: By supporting the Wishing You Wellness Program, you help provide TLC memberships that encourage movement, confidence, and lifelong health. Together, we can ensure that wellness is within everyone’s reach.
“The Wishing You Wellness program has truly transformed my family’s health and happiness. My five children and I now enjoy regular visits to the Tri-Leisure Centre—something we couldn’t have afforded without this support.
Each of us has found a favorite activity, and the drop-in programs give us flexibility and community. This program has made wellness accessible for our family, supporting both our physical and mental health. We’re deeply grateful.”

Mental Health & Addictions
Supporting Minds and Breaking Stigma
Mental health is an essential pillar of overall wellness — and it touches every family, every generation, and every community.
We are committed to supporting mental health across our region, because we know how deeply it affects people of all ages and stages, from childhood to the elderly.
Your donations fund essential programs, services, patient support, education, and awareness to help combat the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction.
Your gift can be the bridge to hope — ensuring that no one faces their struggles alone.
“We’re so grateful to our community and to the Tim Hortons SMILE Cookie Campaign for your incredible support. Because of you, we’ve been able to make real improvements in the care and comfort of the children, youth, and adults who visit our clinic.
Your generosity is helping us create a more welcoming space and provide care that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. Thank you for showing what community support can achieve!”
