Why This Tournament Matters in 2026
In 2026, the Charity Golf Tournament is raising funds for one essential piece of equipment our community urgently needs: an on-site CT scanner at WestView Health Centre.
Right now, when patients arrive in the Emergency Department with symptoms of trauma, stroke, internal bleeding, or severe chest pain, physicians often cannot confirm a diagnosis without a CT scan. This means patients must be transported to another facility before treatment can begin.
Those delays matter.
A CT scanner allows healthcare teams to make faster, more informed decisions when seconds count. It reduces uncertainty for families, improves patient outcomes, and ensures people receive the care they need close to home.
Funds raised through this tournament will directly support WestView’s $5.1 million campaign to bring a CT scanner to our region, serving more than 100,000 residents across Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County, and surrounding rural and First Nations communities.
