Lions Club of Stony Plain Donates $100,000 to Support CT Scanner Campaign
The WestView Health Foundation is proud to recognize the Lions Club of Stony Plain for its extraordinary generosity and commitment to local healthcare through a gift of $100,000 in support of our CT Scanner Campaign. This remarkable contribution brings us one step closer to our goal of bringing a CT scanner to the WestView Health Centre, improving access to diagnostic imaging, and helping ensure patients can receive timely care closer to home.
It was a privilege to present to the Lions Club and share the vision and impact of the CT Project. We are deeply grateful for the warm welcome, thoughtful discussion, and enthusiastic support demonstrated by the members.
For more than 68 years, the Lions Club of Stony Plain has been making a difference in our community through service, leadership, and philanthropy. Their dedication reflects the Lions' enduring mission: "Whenever Lions get together, problems get smaller, and communities get better." Through their unwavering commitment to helping where help is needed—both locally and around the world—the Lions continue to strengthen communities with unmatched integrity, compassion, and energy.
The Lions Club's investment in the CT Scanner Campaign is a powerful example of community leadership in action. Their support will help reduce travel for patients and families, improve access to critical diagnostic services, and enhance healthcare outcomes for residents across the Tri-Region and surrounding communities.
On behalf of the WestView Health Foundation, our healthcare teams, and the countless patients who will benefit from this project in the years ahead, thank you to the Lions Club of Stony Plain for your generosity, partnership, and dedication to building a healthier future for our community.
Together, we are bringing a CT scanner home to WestView.
