Leading the Way: Stony Plain & District Health Centre Auxiliary Supports the CT Campaign
One of the very first community presentations for the WestView Health Foundation's CT Scanner Campaign was delivered to the Stony Plain & District Health Centre Auxiliary—a long-standing and valued partner in supporting healthcare across our region. We are honoured to recognize the Auxiliary's generous gift of $20,000 toward the CT Project, helping bring us closer to our goal of providing advanced diagnostic imaging close to home.
Across Alberta, there are 22 Auxiliaries and 69 Health Foundations, all united by a shared commitment to strengthening healthcare in their communities. For generations, Auxiliaries have led the way through fundraising, volunteerism, advocacy, and initiatives that enhance patient comfort and improve the experience within health centres. Their dedication has had a profound and lasting impact on healthcare services throughout the province.
The Stony Plain & District Health Centre Auxiliary exemplifies this spirit of service. Through countless volunteer hours, fundraising efforts, and unwavering support of local healthcare initiatives, they continue to make a meaningful difference for patients, families, and healthcare teams throughout the Tri-Region. The WestView Health Foundation is deeply grateful for our partnership with the Auxiliary and for their belief in the importance of bringing a CT scanner to WestView Health Centre. Their investment in this project is an investment in improved access to diagnostic services, earlier diagnoses, and better health outcomes for our community.
Thank you to the members of the Stony Plain & District Health Centre Auxiliary for your generosity, leadership, and commitment to healthcare excellence. Your support extends far beyond fundraising—it reflects a shared vision of ensuring local residents have access to the services they need, close to home.
